The classic handle
It gives a secure grip, is easy to replace and means you touch the door less. On heavy drawers it is usually the most intuitive option.
You need to choose the length, spacing and position so handles do not clash in corners or catch on clothing.
Handle rails and edge pulls
A recessed handle rail creates a comfortable finger space between doors. It needs room in the construction and consistent use along the whole run of units.
An edge pull is discreet, but its profile and colour should suit the thickness of the door.
Routed grips and push-to-open
A routed grip is part of the door itself, so its depth and comfort matter. Not every material allows the same shape.
Push-to-open opens the door when pressed. It works well on selected cabinets, but on frequently used drawers it can mean touching the surface more.
Choosing for the user
When designing fitted kitchens in Gliwice, Tychy and Jastrzębie-Zdrój, we ask about the way you cook, children and the mobility of the household. Looks should not compromise everyday comfort.
The best design can combine systems: a rail on the drawers, handles on tall doors and push-to-open on a less used cabinet.
Frequently asked questions
Is push-to-open suitable for a dishwasher?
It needs a compatible solution and the right door set-up; it is not automatically used with every model.
Are routed doors more expensive?
They usually need extra machining and the right material, so they can raise the price.
Every room has different dimensions and constraints. Describe your project in the form and we will get back to you with the next steps.
