Timing and planning

Think about furniture six months before you move.

Six months is a safe starting point, especially for a kitchen, several built-ins or a home where installations and other trades need to be coordinated.

A typical planning rhythm.

  1. 6 months before

    First contact and direction

Floor plan, scope, inspiration, budget and an initial layout. A good moment to change installations.

  2. 4 to 5 months before

    Site survey and design

We verify the space and choose appliances, materials, doors, worktops and fittings.

  3. 2 to 3 months before

    Approval and production

Once decisions are final, we reserve materials and a production slot in the workshop.

  4. Before you move

    Installation and handover

The room must be finished, dry and accessible. We agree the exact date well in advance.

Why not wait?

Some doors, fittings and worktops have longer delivery times. The design needs decisions, and the final survey depends on how the renovation progresses.

An early conversation does not mean immediate production. It does help you avoid sockets behind cabinets, badly placed plumbing, doors that cannot open and rushed choices of materials.
